Prosperity Chickens for Decor Fabric Tiered Tray Notions

The Tales of the Scrap Bin In Indian culture, "prosperity hens," also known as "tota" or "bell totas," are decorative hangings believed to bring good luck and prosperity to homes and families when hung in doorways or windows. These were usually made and given as gifts for special milestones or handed down generation after generation. On to the actual description: Lightly stuffed fabric Chickens shaped filled with a mixture of polyfil and clean cotton scraps. Strung on thread with buttons and beads for a primitive look. Strung chickens on garland measure 10 chicks high, 30" long. Single chicks are about 2.5" tall on a 8" strand, perfect for the review mirror.
